Attendance*

While all students will not be called to every regular Friday rehearsal, it is expected that all students will be available for every rehearsal. We will not know who will be called until the week prior. Please check all boxes to acknowledge the following.

Wednesday rehearsals from 3:45-5:45pm

Friday rehearsals from 3:45-5:45pm (In 2025 Friday rehearsals will go until 6:15pm)

I acknowledge that there will be a Monday Tech rehearsal on February 10 for all cast.

I understand that unexcused lateness or absences may result in my role being given to another student.

I understand that in the unexpected event that a rehearsal goes late, a call or email will be sent to inform those coming to pick up the youth.

Parent Orientation & Volunteer Information Evening*

This will be a short evening to get ALL families familiar with what Main Stage is about, offer a space to ask questions and have expectations made clear from the beginning. Volunteer positions for the season will also be explained in brief. Please ensure that at least one parent from each family is in attendance. Check the box below to acknowledge date and time of this event. MEETING PLACE TBA. Students not required. After the Parent Orientation, all parents who are committing to regularly volunteering with us will stay for our annual required volunteer training.

Parent Orientation: Wednesday Sept. 4, 6:30-7:30pm

Volunteer Training: SAME DAY, 7:30-8:30pm

AN ADDITIONAL MEETING in early JAN (TBA) will be held to organize performance volunteer jobs.

Regular Parent Volunteering*

We can keep our program cost low due to the help of committed volunteers. Volunteers filling in one of these roles agree to be present in rehearsal on a weekly basis and will also receive a reduced registration rate for their children.

Special Event Availability*

Volunteering for a shift at these special events keeps our registration fees down. We ask that a student and/or a family member attend at least 2 of these events in addition to performance volunteer slots in February.
