“Blue Flower” Symbolism: A blue rose (which does not naturally occur), or a blue flower in general, can represent the metaphysical striving for the infinite and unreachable; it symbolizes hope and beauty, trust and a commitment that goes on. It embodies our main goal for this initiative, that the students we work with feel safe exploring the infinite ways theatre helps us understand ourselves and each other. That the youth would see the hope and beauty in the people they portray, and in themselves when they are at their weakest. That they would commit to trusting each other through a process that asks a lot of vulnerability of them.
We work with youth and young adults aged 16-25 and allow them to pursue higher-level, professional theatre training in a safe environment where they can grow. By working with a small number of these youth at a time, we will engage them in a rehearsal process that prepares them for the showcase of a full-length professional show.

The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams
Date: July 31, 2025
Time: 7pm
Location: 32860 Cherry Ave, Mission
Tickets: $15
Abandoned by her husband, Amanda Wingfield comforts herself with recollections of her earlier, more gracious life in Blue Mountain when she was pursued by ‘gentlemen callers.’ Her son, Tom, a poet with a job at a warehouse, longs for adventure and escape from his mother’s suffocating embrace, while Laura, her shy crippled daughter, has her glass menagerie and her memories. Amanda is desperate to find her daughter a husband, but when the long awaited gentleman callers arrives, everything is not as it seems.
This ‘memory play’ first premiered in 1944 and catapulted Tennessee Williams from obscurity to fame. The play has strong autobiographical elements, featuring characters based on it’s author, his histrionic mother, and his mentally fragile sister.
Recommended for ages 12 and up. This show contains course language and depictions of smoking and drinking.

Past Shows
2024 – Mary’s Wedding by Stephen Massicotte
On the night before her wedding, Mary dreams of a thunderstorm, during which she unexpectedly meets Charlie sheltering in a barn beside his horse. With innocence and humour, the two discover a charming first love. But the year is 1914, and the world is collapsing into a brutal war. Together, they attempt to hide their love, galloping through the fields for a place and time where the tumultuous uncertainties of battle can’t find them. A play with a heart as big as the skies that serve as its stage, ‘Mary’s Wedding’ is an epic, unforgettable story of love, hope, and survival.
