Currently accepting registrations for our wait list only! We are happy to have interested students on our wait list. It could be that we will need you! YOU NEVER KNOW – last year we had an acute case of appendicitis during Tech Week – it happens!!

Step One: All families who register should read the welcome letter carefully !
Step Two: Please fill out the application form together with your parent/child.
Step Three: Payment- Mail or drop off to Sharon Wiebe 32379 McBride Ave, Mission BC upon receiving a letter of acceptance. Cheques made out to “Youth Unlimited”.
$150 Registration Fee
$85 – Subsequent Siblings Registration Fee
$50 – Children of Volunteer Registration Fee (one child per volunteer)
Volunteers: Volunteers may allow one child to attend for $50 for each volunteer who is available to help no less than 5 hours per week. Generally this is during our Wednesday or Friday rehearsals but there are some spots available for “at home” help. Volunteer Meeting: TBA

- Saturday August 5 Krispy Kreme Fundraiser 9am – 5pm @ 3 Locations (morning and afternoon shifts)
- Wednesday August 9 Optional Reading – “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe”. Please come if you can!
Fall Schedule 2017: 12 weeks of AMAZINGNESS!
- Regular rehearsals: Fridays 3:30 – 6 and Wednesdays 3:30 – 5:30pm; Sept 6 – November 10
- Friday October 6 – Thanksgiving Weekend- Jesters WILL be held as usual!
- Friday Oct 20 – Rehearsal as Usual PLUS: Tentative Extended Rehearsal (keep your morning/early afternoon free if you have a pro-d day and need extra rehearsal time. We will call you if you are needed.
- Friday Nov 3 – Picture & Party Day! 3:30 – 9pm!
- Friday Nov 10 – Rehearsal as Usual PLUS: Extended Rehearsal. Times TBA – Keep the day free if you have no school that day.
- Cast A Rehearsal Week: Monday Nov 13, Wednesday Nov 15; Rehearsals go until 6pm Monday & Wednesday with potential to go later (bring snacks)
- Cast B Rehearsal Week: Monday Nov 20, Wednesday Nov 22; Rehearsals go until 6pm Monday & Wednesday with potential to go later (bring snacks)
- Shows: Nov 17, 18 & 24,25 – 6:30 daily and a matinee on Saturdays at 1pm (6 shows)
- Sunday Nov 26; 12:30 Awards Day/Volunteer Thank you

$10 for adults and $5 for Students (18 and under)

Our Theatre Staff:
Director: Sharon Wiebe
Sharon has served in a number of roles at Jesters Theatre and along with Jessica Garwood, was the founder in 2011. Sharon has enjoyed seeing the Jesters Family grow and feels a strong connection with the youth and families there. Her desire is to build confidence in young people and give them purpose for life.
Stage Manager: Tiani Foster
Tiani joined the permanent staff of Jesters in the fall of 2015, and has fallen in love with the community of young people and families. She’s always loved working with children and teens, and has enjoyed many years of serving with church ministries, summer camps, and local and international outreach programs. Some of her favourite things include thunderstorms, antique teacups, and anything with cinnamon.
Public Speaking Coach: Dave Wiebe
While Dave is the Director of Abbotsford Youth Unlimited. he still takes time to mentor our Speech Team! Youth are given the opportunity to sign up for and deliver speeches at our shows. Dave has been an integral part of helping them achieve success. He has helped them learn about our charities and has taken them on field trips to see firsthand about the difference youth can make in our world.

Glen Fluevog – Sound and Lights
Glen is going into his 5th year at Jesters Theatre! He is the owner of G.F.C. Communications which has been providing video production and on site duplication at conferences for over a decade. Glen is a friendly, helpful and a knowledgeable asset to our Tech Team.
Melodie Fluevog – Sound and Lights
Melodie is many things beyond being Glen’s lovely daughter… She brings a smile and her expertise with sound equipment and has been a wonderful mentor and reliable leader.
Nathan Fluevog – Media
This is Nathan’s third season at Jesters Theatre. Nathan is experienced in Media Technology and was a joy to have around at our show last year.
Lorena Riesen – Snacks Coordinator and Backstage
Never mess with the snack lady! Much loved, reliable and cheerful, we are so thankful for Lorena. She organizes the all important snacks and also has been a huge asset in the costume department for several years. Thank you Lorena!
Trevor Lum – Photography/Videography
Trevor always has the crowd laughing with his big smile and big heart. Trevor brings creativity to our company like no other! We are so thankful for the many hours of “caring” that Trevor has contributed… THANK YOU sometimes doesn’t seem enough!
Nicole McKenzie – Marketing and Development
Nicole is in her second year at Jesters and returns as our Marketing Manager and Development Assistant. She is no stranger to Summer Theatre either and has helped in several capacities there including photography, small group leadership and the welcome desk. We appreciate Nicole’s wisdom and kind, willing nature.
Shawna Willems – Small Groups & Student Leader Mentor
Shawna will be joining us for the second time at Jesters Fall Theatre. She has a caring heart which is exemplified in her desire to see young leaders mature into who God made them to be.
Lorraine Lum – Assistant Stage Manager
Lorraine is such a positive person willing to help in every area with a thoughtful and generous spirit. Lorraine has been an important part of Jesters Theatre since is beginnings and a positive role model for our students.
Allana Foster – Assistant Stage Manager
Allana is new to Jesters this fall, and is a great help with her sense of humour and efficient spirit. Helping with all the tasks of running rehearsals, and supervising clean-up, she’s one of the gems who makes Jesters possible!
Susan Hardt – Assistant Stage Manager
Susan has been around Jesters for several years now, helping with snacks, welcome desk, running lines with students, and more. Her sweet smile and kind nature make her the “unofficial grandmother” of our group!
Michelle Elliott – Assistant Stage Manager
Michelle has been helping with backstage tasks for a couple of seasons now, and is a huge blessing with her capable creativity! You often have her to thank for the cool little details on the sets and props.
Nichole Awram – Props Manager
Nichole is another new volunteer this season, and we are so glad to have her help with props! Organized and efficient, she’s helping make all the Seussy details of our show come together.
Patricia Shepherd – Costume Assistant
A wonderful helper with a great sense of humour, Patricia has been sewing since she was a little girl. Her skills and resourcefulness have certainly come in handy with all the funky costumes in A Seussified Christmas Carol!
Riley has been at Jesters since 2011 playing roles such as Aunt Kay, Verushka, Rosa, several solos and as a dancer multiple times. She has been a student leader at our Summer Programs and a valuable member of our theatre company. She likes volleyball and music and has a great talent as a hair stylist!
Alia has been at Jesters since the golden days way back when. She has played numerous roles and is looking forward to starring as our lead role this year. Alia was hired as part of our first high school Student Team at Jesters this summer and was a bright spot in the program with creativity and organization! Thank you Alia!
Caleb is our faithful leader of the Backstage Crew! Talented and capable, his skill with all the technical aspects of putting on a theatre production, his great problem-solving mind, and his sense of fun make him a great leader of our Crew!
